LuxWest was formed by Bruce MacIntire with a background in corporate hospitality development and Barbara MacIntire with a background in interior furnishing retail. Prior to incorporation, Barbara provided interior design services for Telluride single family homes and furnished all of the housewares, countertop appliances and soft goods for the Teton Club in Jackson Hole.
With the success of these first projects, LuxWest was incorporated in 2002. Since then, LuxWest has provided interior design services for condominiums, single family homes, commercial offices and condominium developments. Our services have ranged from updating tired rental condominium interiors, to complete remodels, to providing entire turnkey interior design services from concept through completion.
We now have a 3,000 foot design resource center in Telluride’s Mountain Village, a staffed warehouse in Montrose, nine full time employees including 3 designers, and a growing reputation for quality in Telluride.

Barbara MacIntire
As a resident of Telluride since 1973, I have been an active participant in the growth and development of this exclusive ski resort. I founded and operated one of Telluride’s longest running retail stores, have operated an art gallery and a retail furniture store. The retail furniture business quickly grew into one of Telluride’s most successful interior design firms. Rather than a “one style fits all” approach, we tailor an interior to fit our client’s taste and lifestyle.
